Children's Ministry
Children are an integral part of worship service and Christian education at First Presbyterian Church of Goldsboro. We are here to nurture their faith and also create a safe space for young parents and families to worship and grow in their faith in our community.
Children are encouraged to participate in Sunday School and attend Wednesday Family Night. During Family Night, a Bible study is offered to parents while children participate in fun activities, then families are reunited to enjoy dinner and fellowship. Children also participate in local mission activities.

Regular Children's Events
Sunday School
Sundays | 9:00 - 9:50 am
Our goal is to create an environment where children can engage in programs and activities that will assist them in forming a firm faith foundation, while helping them grow with God. Infants through elementary school-aged children are welcome.
Nursery: Birth to age 4

Family Night
Wednesdays | 5:30 pm
Every Wednesday beginning in September, join us for food and fellowship.
5:30 pm - Children's Activities/Adult Bible Study
6:15 pm - Dinner in the Gym
Young Presbyterians
Every First and Third Sunday | 2:00 pm-3:30 pm
This is a time for the children to gather for fellowship and dive into the Word of God
Parent's Night Out
Once a Month | 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm
Once a month, taking a break during the Summer, we offer a Parent's Night Out for children 4-5th grade. This gives parents the chance to have some alone time as their children enjoy spending time at church.
