Congregational Nurture

The Congregational Nurture Committee is responsible for these various ministries:

Officer Visitation

All Elders/Deacons are "partnered" with senior church members in an active Outreach Program. Officers share weekly responsibilities for those church members with acute needs.

Education Fund Ministry

FPC High School Seniors are eligible to apply for these financial need-based scholarships.

Deployment Assistance

The committee seeks to reduce stress involved with military deployment by providing meals and other services needed by the family of the deployed.

Prayer Chain Ministry

Many members are involved with the FPC email Prayer Chain. This is our spiritual "alarm system" which communicates and takes prayerful action on the needs of the congregation.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

A prayer shawl provides a tangible source of strength and comfort to those with special needs. If you are in need of a prayer shawl for yourself or any other member of our church family, please stop by the church office and complete a request form.

Prayer Warrior Ministry

Please continue to pray for all the children of our FPC family.

Card Ministry

The Congregational Nurture Committee communicates with members in times of sickness, difficulties, death, and in times of joy and praise through its card ministry.

Spring Fling

Senior church members are honored/pampered at this special annual event.
